Description

A vulnerability was determined in Aureus ERP up to 1.3.0-BETA2. The affected element is an unknown function of the file plugins/webkul/chatter/resources/views/filament/infolists/components/messages/content-text-entry.blade.php of the component Chatter Message Handler. Executing a manipulation of the argument subject/body can lead to cross site scripting. The attack can be launched remotely. Upgrading to version 1.3.0-BETA1 is sufficient to fix this issue. This patch is called 2135ee7efff4090e70050b63015ab5e268760ec8. It is suggested to upgrade the affected component.

Detection & mitigation playbook

Open-source dependency
  1. Detect

Scan your dependency tree (package-lock.json, pnpm-lock.yaml, requirements.txt, go.sum, etc.) for aureuserp/aureuserp. O3's reachability analysis confirms whether the vulnerable code path is actually invoked in your application, so you act on real exposure instead of every transitive match.

  2. Fix

Update aureuserp/aureuserp to 1.3.0-BETA1 or later, then make sure no transitive (indirect) dependency still pins the vulnerable range — O3 confirms CVE-2026-4175 is resolved across your whole dependency graph.

  3. Workarounds

If you can't upgrade right away: gate or disable the affected feature, validate untrusted input at the boundary, and avoid passing attacker-controlled data into the vulnerable path. O3's runtime protection blocks exploitation in production as an interim safeguard until the upgrade lands.

  4. How O3 protects you

O3 pinpoints whether CVE-2026-4175 is reachable in your code and exactly where to fix it, then blocks exploitation in production at runtime until the patched version is deployed.

Tailored to CVE-2026-4175. Runtime protection reduces exposure until a permanent patch is applied and verified — it complements patching, it doesn't replace it.
