What this malware does

Security researchers at Check Point Research discovered a malicious package called browserdiv that intended to steal credentials by collecting and sending them to a predefined Discord webhook. PyPI has since removed browserdiv.

  1. Find it

    Scan your lockfiles (package-lock.json, pnpm-lock.yaml, yarn.lock, requirements.txt, poetry.lock, etc.) and build artifacts for browserdiv (all published versions).
