A valid backend user account is needed in order to exploit this vulnerability.\n\nDerivatives of Debian GNU Linux are handling *.phar files as PHP applications since PHP 7.1 (for unofficial packages) and PHP 7.2 (for official packages).\n\nThe file extension *.shtml is bound to server side includes which are not enabled per default in most common Linux based distributions. File extension *.pl and *.cgi require additional handlers to be configured which is also not the case in most common distributions (except for /cgi-bin/ location).\n\n","published":"2024-05-30T16:13:05Z","modified":"2024-12-05T05:42:05.664259Z","cvss":{"score":8.8,"severity":"HIGH","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H"},"epss":null,"cisaKev":null,"exploitsKnown":0,"affectedPackages":[{"ecosystem":"Packagist","name":"typo3/cms-core","fixedVersion":"8.7.23"},{"ecosystem":"Packagist","name":"typo3/cms-core","fixedVersion":"9.5.4"}],"fix":{"url":"https://github.com/TYPO3-CMS/core/commit/45c311d120c359d54cc918e962c374e774239899","label":"TYPO3-CMS/core@45c311d"},"references":[{"type":"WEB","url":"https://github.com/TYPO3-CMS/core/commit/45c311d120c359d54cc918e962c374e774239899"},{"type":"WEB","url":"https://github.com/TYPO3-CMS/core/commit/5095084efae471c5fef7b578f2bc8a5060e1e148"},{"type":"WEB","url":"https://github.com/FriendsOfPHP/security-advisories/blob/master/typo3/cms-core/2019-01-22-7.yaml"},{"type":"PACKAGE","url":"https://github.com/TYPO3-CMS/core"},{"type":"WEB","url":"https://typo3.org/security/advisory/typo3-core-sa-2019-008"}],"provenance":{"sources":["OSV.dev","FIRST.org (EPSS)"],"lastVerified":"2024-12-05T05:42:05.664259Z"}}
