Because Craft/Yii HMAC tokens are not bound to a parameter name, an authenticated low-privilege control panel user with edit rights on a single element type can mint a token over attacker-controlled Twig for the returnUrl parameter and replay it as the redirect POST parameter, reaching the unsandboxed sink and achieving server-side template injection that executes arbitrary PHP code (full server compromise). The issue is fixed in 5.10.13.","published":"2026-09-16T21:46:58.692Z","modified":"2026-09-16T21:46:58.692Z","cvss":{"score":8.8,"severity":"HIGH","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H"},"epss":null,"cisaKev":null,"exploitsKnown":null,"affectedPackages":[],"fix":null,"references":[{"type":"ADVISORY","url":"https://github.com/craftcms/cms/security/advisories/GHSA-5jmw-g85v-7jv2"},{"type":"ADVISORY","url":"https://www.vulncheck.com/advisories/craft-cms-5.10.0-before-5.10.13-authenticated-remote-code-execution"}],"provenance":{"sources":["OSV.dev","NVD","FIRST.org (EPSS)"],"lastVerified":"2026-09-16T21:46:58.692Z"}}
