{"id":"CVE-2026-42863","aliases":["GHSA-5wxp-qjgq-fx6m"],"url":"https://o3.security/vulnerability/CVE-2026-42863","summary":"Flowise: Mass Assignment in Chatflow Update Endpoint Allows Cross-Workspace AgentFlow Reassignment","details":"Flowise is a drag & drop user interface to build a customized large language model flow. Prior to version 3.1.2, a mass assignment vulnerability exists in the chatflow update endpoint of FlowiseAI. The endpoint allows clients to modify server-controlled properties such as deployed, isPublic, workspaceId, createdDate, and updatedDate when updating a chatflow object. Due to missing server-side validation and authorization checks, an authenticated user can manipulate internal attributes of a chatflow and reassign it to another workspace. This allows cross-workspace resource reassignment and unauthorized modification of deployment and visibility settings. This issue has been patched in version 3.1.2.","published":"2026-06-08T15:29:24.966Z","modified":"2026-08-12T03:51:46.216544606Z","cvss":null,"epss":{"score":0.00268,"percentile":0.18732,"asOf":"2026-08-09"},"cisaKev":null,"exploitsKnown":0,"affectedPackages":[{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"flowise","fixedVersion":"3.1.2"}],"fix":null,"references":[{"type":"WEB","url":"https://github.com/FlowiseAI/Flowise/releases/tag/flowise%403.1.2"},{"type":"ADVISORY","url":"https://github.com/CVEProject/cvelistV5/tree/main/cves/2026/42xxx/CVE-2026-42863.json"},{"type":"ADVISORY","url":"https://github.com/FlowiseAI/Flowise/security/advisories/GHSA-5wxp-qjgq-fx6m"},{"type":"ADVISORY","url":"https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-42863"}],"provenance":{"sources":["OSV.dev","FIRST.org (EPSS)"],"lastVerified":"2026-08-12T03:51:46.216544606Z"}}
