This vulnerability could enable an unauthenticated user, in certain circumstances, to create or modify instance data beyond what was intended, resulting in privilege escalation. \n\n\n\n\n\nServiceNow deployed a security update to hosted instances and ServiceNow provided the update to our partners and self-hosted customers. We are not currently aware of exploitation against ServiceNow instances. \n\n\n\nWe recommend customers promptly apply appropriate updates or upgrade to a patched release if they have not already done so.","published":"2026-08-27T20:17:04.020","modified":"2026-08-29T04:18:04.793","cvss":null,"epss":null,"cisaKev":null,"exploitsKnown":null,"affectedPackages":[],"fix":null,"references":[{"type":"WEB","url":"https://support.servicenow.com/kb?id=kb_article_view&sysparm_article=KB3152242"}],"provenance":{"sources":["OSV.dev","NVD","FIRST.org (EPSS)"],"lastVerified":"2026-08-29T04:18:04.793"}}
