This is due to the plugin dynamically granting the unfiltered_upload capability to all users during form submissions and bypassing MIME type validation when allowed_file_types is not configured. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to execute code on the server. Several default pre-built templates including Job Application, Support Ticket, and Wholesale Application have file upload fields with no file type restrictions configured by design, making this vulnerability immediately exploitable upon installation.","published":"2026-08-29T12:16:41.163","modified":"2026-08-29T12:16:41.163","cvss":{"score":9.8,"severity":"CRITICAL","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H"},"epss":null,"cisaKev":null,"exploitsKnown":null,"affectedPackages":[],"fix":null,"references":[{"type":"WEB","url":"https://feedback.bdthemes.com/announcements"},{"type":"WEB","url":"https://www.wordfence.com/threat-intel/vulnerabilities/id/44d63454-87f0-49e3-ac04-2fa83882500d?source=cve"}],"provenance":{"sources":["OSV.dev","NVD","FIRST.org (EPSS)"],"lastVerified":"2026-08-29T12:16:41.163"}}
