Attackers can exploit the temporary-download endpoint's insufficient Content-Security-Policy sandbox to execute scripts when the attachment is opened, enabling theft of the victim's credentials and mailbox contents. Proofpoint Threat Research has observed exploitation in the wild as a credential and mailbox stealer.","published":"2026-10-27T17:16:58.203","modified":"2026-10-28T17:17:41.833","cvss":{"score":8.2,"severity":"HIGH","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:H/I:L/A:N"},"epss":null,"cisaKev":null,"exploitsKnown":null,"affectedPackages":[],"fix":null,"references":[{"type":"WEB","url":"https://gfi.ai/resource/kerioconnect-product-releases/"},{"type":"WEB","url":"https://www.vulncheck.com/advisories/gfi-kerioconnect-8p2-stored-xss-via-svg-attachment"}],"provenance":{"sources":["OSV.dev","NVD","FIRST.org (EPSS)"],"lastVerified":"2026-10-28T17:17:41.833"}}
