Prior to version 1.7.0, if an arbitrary path is specified in the request body's `fs_path`, the server serializes the Flow object into JSON and creates/overwrites a file at that path. There is no path restriction, normalization, or allowed directory enforcement, so absolute paths (e.g., /etc/poc.txt) are interpreted as is. Version 1.7.0 fixes the issue.","published":"2025-12-19T17:10:14.107Z","modified":"2026-07-15T01:48:56.719908669Z","cvss":{"score":7.1,"severity":"HIGH","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:H/A:L"},"epss":null,"cisaKev":null,"exploitsKnown":0,"affectedPackages":[{"ecosystem":"PyPI","name":"langflow","fixedVersion":"1.7.1"}],"fix":null,"references":[{"type":"ADVISORY","url":"https://github.com/CVEProject/cvelistV5/tree/main/cves/2025/68xxx/CVE-2025-68478.json"},{"type":"ADVISORY","url":"https://github.com/langflow-ai/langflow/security/advisories/GHSA-f43r-cc68-gpx4"},{"type":"ADVISORY","url":"https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2025-68478"}],"provenance":{"sources":["OSV.dev","FIRST.org (EPSS)"],"lastVerified":"2026-07-15T01:48:56.719908669Z"}}
