Prior to version 10.0.0, the path shortening function uses the md5 function as a path shortening compression function, and if a collision occurs, it will result in the same storage path for two different libraries. Although the real names are under the package name /node_modoules/, there are no version numbers for the libraries they refer to. This issue has been patched in version 10.0.0.","published":"2025-04-23T15:42:12.623Z","modified":"2026-07-15T01:48:55.685958244Z","cvss":{"score":6.5,"severity":"MEDIUM","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:H/PR:N/UI:N/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:L"},"epss":null,"cisaKev":null,"exploitsKnown":0,"affectedPackages":[{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"pnpm","fixedVersion":"10.0.0"}],"fix":null,"references":[{"type":"ADVISORY","url":"https://github.com/CVEProject/cvelistV5/tree/main/cves/2024/47xxx/CVE-2024-47829.json"},{"type":"ADVISORY","url":"https://github.com/pnpm/pnpm/security/advisories/GHSA-8cc4-rfj6-fhg4"},{"type":"ADVISORY","url":"https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2024-47829"}],"provenance":{"sources":["OSV.dev","FIRST.org (EPSS)"],"lastVerified":"2026-07-15T01:48:55.685958244Z"}}
