Specifically, the session does not expire after a password change, enabling an attacker to maintain access to a compromised account without the victim's ability to revoke this access. This issue was observed in a self-hosted ZenML deployment via Docker, where after changing the password from one browser, the session remained active and usable in another browser without requiring re-authentication.","published":"2024-06-08T19:38:31.250Z","modified":"2026-08-12T03:51:47.629089529Z","cvss":{"score":3.9,"severity":"LOW","vector":"CVSS:3.0/AV:N/AC:H/PR:H/UI:R/S:U/C:L/I:L/A:L"},"epss":null,"cisaKev":null,"exploitsKnown":1,"affectedPackages":[{"ecosystem":"PyPI","name":"zenml","fixedVersion":null}],"fix":null,"references":[{"type":"WEB","url":"https://huntr.com/bounties/c88f6bd2-490d-4930-98dd-03651b20230a"},{"type":"ADVISORY","url":"https://github.com/CVEProject/cvelistV5/tree/main/cves/2024/4xxx/CVE-2024-4680.json"},{"type":"ADVISORY","url":"https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2024-4680"},{"type":"PACKAGE","url":"https://github.com/zenml-io/zenml"}],"provenance":{"sources":["OSV.dev","FIRST.org (EPSS)"],"lastVerified":"2026-08-12T03:51:47.629089529Z"}}
