{"id":"CVE-2024-24754","aliases":["GHSA-82vx-mm6r-gg8w"],"url":"https://o3.security/vulnerability/CVE-2024-24754","summary":"Bref Body Parsing Inconsistency in Event-Driven Functions","details":"Bref enable serverless PHP on AWS Lambda. When Bref is used with the Event-Driven Function runtime and the handler is a `RequestHandlerInterface`, then the Lambda event is converted to a PSR7 object. During the conversion process, if the request is a MultiPart, each part is parsed and its content added in the `$files` or `$parsedBody` arrays. The conversion process produces a different output compared to the one of plain PHP when keys ending with and open square bracket ([) are used. Based on the application logic the difference in the body parsing might lead to vulnerabilities and/or undefined behaviors. This vulnerability is patched in 2.1.13.","published":"2024-02-01T16:10:30.539Z","modified":"2026-07-15T01:49:04.127939256Z","cvss":{"score":3.7,"severity":"LOW","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:H/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:L/A:N"},"epss":null,"cisaKev":null,"exploitsKnown":1,"affectedPackages":[{"ecosystem":"Packagist","name":"bref/bref","fixedVersion":"2.1.13"}],"fix":{"url":"https://github.com/brefphp/bref/commit/c77d9f5abf021f29fa96b5720b7b84adbd199092","label":"brefphp/bref@c77d9f5"},"references":[{"type":"ADVISORY","url":"https://github.com/CVEProject/cvelistV5/tree/main/cves/2024/24xxx/CVE-2024-24754.json"},{"type":"ADVISORY","url":"https://github.com/brefphp/bref/security/advisories/GHSA-82vx-mm6r-gg8w"},{"type":"ADVISORY","url":"https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2024-24754"},{"type":"FIX","url":"https://github.com/brefphp/bref/commit/c77d9f5abf021f29fa96b5720b7b84adbd199092"}],"provenance":{"sources":["OSV.dev","FIRST.org (EPSS)"],"lastVerified":"2026-07-15T01:49:04.127939256Z"}}
